Today's Kitchen Tip: Crescent roll sheets are great for appetizers and more

I love to use crescent roll dough to make appetizers and snacks.  It can be a pain in the neck to press all the seems together so they bake in a nice sheet.  Luckily Pillsbury came out with a crescent roll sheet that is the same dough as the triangles but is in a single sheet.

For me, it works well to fill it with whatever I want, and roll it up tightly.  Then I cut little rounds (also known as pinwheels).  I bake according to the package directions or until they are nicely browned.  I have made both sweet and savory items using these sheets.  I love, love, love them.

These save a lot of time.  They can be difficult to find so when I see them, I often buy a few.  Alas, if you can't find them, just use 'regular' crescent rolls and press them together.
