You know how awful it is when you measure sticky things such as honey, molasses or peanut butter. No matter what you do, a lot of it stays in the measuring spoon or measuring cup. If you spray the spoon or cup with cooking spray, the sticky stuff will come right out.
And a two-fer tip....open up your dishwasher and spray the measuring spoon or cup so that the spray goes in the dishwasher; not on the counter. That, too, will save a lot of clean up.
