Today's Kitchen Tip: How to brown meat

Meat always tastes better when it has been browned.  If you want to brown your meat properly, make sure you use a hot pan, some oil, then place the meat into the pan so that it does not touch.

Overfilling a pan will cause meat to steam, not brown.  I could fit another pork chop into the pan, but if I did that, there will be too many juices and our delicious pork chops would be drowning in liquid.  Nothing browns that way.

The rule to remember....do not overfill your pans.  It may save time but will ruin your dish.
